The Tasty Dog Challenge, which raised approx. $3400 for the PTOs of the Oak Park elementary schools last spring, is starting again Saturday March 5. Tasty Dog, 708 Lake Street, will be supporting area schools again by donating proceeds from meal sales to District 97 elementary school PTOs. This year’s expanded event offers even more ways to support District 97 schools, including prize drawings and an anti-bullying program to be presented to a winning school.

Participation is easy - school supporters visit Tasty Dog any time during a specially designated day and mention their school when placing an order. Tasty Dog will donate 15 percent of all participants’ sales to that school’s PTO.
The dates for this year's Challenge:
     Sat. March 5 (11 a.m. - 6 p.m.): Lincoln School
     Sat. March 12 (11 a.m.-6 p.m.): Hatch School
     Friday March 18 (11a.m. -.9 p.m.): Irving School
    Sat. March 19 (11 a.m. - 6 p.m.): Beye School

     Thurs. April 7 (11 a.m. - 9 p.m.): Longfellow School
     Sat. April 9 (11 a.m. - 6 p.m.): Mann School

good question...and do you think Village Manager Tom Barwin pays the property taxes on the village owned property that he rents, from the village? I sure hope he does.
