Moving Beyond Diversity

The Introduction to Systemic Racism workshop, led by Chicago Regional Organizing for Antiracism (CROAR), is for people of all races to learn how racism is imbedded everywhere. Come for an honest and open discussion on what systemic racism is, how racism came about in the U.S., how it applies to our communities and organizations, and how to move forward after the workshop. Hephzipaloozah Free Family Fun

Kick off summer with this free celebration for children and families. There will be a carnival at Mills Park, activities at Pleasant Home, and on South Marion Street in Oak Park's Pleasant District, a street fair with live music, local food vendors, and a beer tent. Also, at 6 pm, Mary Anne Brown, executive director of Hephzibah Children's Association, is being honored for her 41 years of service to the organization.

Last Sale of the Season
