There's Art in Iceland?

Known for its spectacular landscape, Iceland is home to contemporary artists such as Ragnar Kjartansson and Björk. But its artistic history is centuries old, from folk carving and weaving to 19th century painting influenced by the Impressionists and Modernism. Living History Project

Youth in grades 6 through 12 learn about the histories of social movements in the U.S. while developing leadership skills, such as cultivating social and critical thinking skills, developing research skills and gaining public speaking experience. Free Stream of "Rastus and Hattie"

In this radio play, accompanied by original illustrations, Needra and Marlene enjoy a perfect post-racial friendship until two problematic robots walk into a christening celebration. These automatons, based on Westinghouse's 1930s brown-skinned robots, and a glitch in the time-space continuum, place them at opposite ends of society in an alternate past. The 15-minute Hamlet

Join Oak Park Festival Theatre's Artistic Associates as they tear through Shakespeare's longest play, cut out most of it and keep all the funny bits.
