On Thursday, 8/1 through Saturday 8/3 at 7:30pm  Cape Coast Dreams performs two one-act plays at Oak Park's Madison Street Theatre, 1010 W. Madison.  Come see  "The Meeting" & "Sisters".  "The Meeting" tells the story of a fictional meeting of two of the most important men of modern times, Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  They discuss their philosophies and potential approaches to the same grave social problems.  "Sisters" tells the story of two African-American women who have class differneces but find they have much in common.  Tickets at the door or online at .

The Oak Park Art League is having a Yard Sale from 8 - 1pm on Saturday, 8/3 at 720 Chicago Ave.  They are also looking for donations.  More information at 708-386-9853.

How about a Free Outdoor Summer Concert in Oak Park's new and improved Scoville Park.  Bring your chairs and blankets and hear "One Foot in the Groove" from 5:30 - 7pm for Rock and Roll.  More details at .

Another Free event is on Tuesday, 8/6, Berwyn Cruise Nite from 6 9 pm brought to you by the Berwyn Development Corporation.  The fun happens at Windsor & Grove Avenues with cars, food, music, and fun.  Go to thier website at for all the details.
